Kopite
sorry to hear that mate , cats are awesome i too prefer animals over people - more honest, loyal and decent than the majority of people!
Jake
Sorry about you cat Rob What was his name? Si, bloody hell mate you nearly had me sniffing about your dog at the vets I'm dreading the day our Mac goes. The house will seem empty without him but I don't think we'll ever get another dog - it just wouldn't be the same. He's only four years old but that's already halfway through the average Dane's life. I wish I hadn't read this thread, I feel quite depressed now.

Muffleman
Sorry to hear mate, he was a lovely looking chap. We're animal types too, four cats and a dog until not too long ago, now just two cats and a dog. Have you got any other cats ? Whenever I have lost a cat, I've always jumped straight back on the furry wagon and got me another

Chris Wilson
Thanks guys, he had a good life, must have been around 18 years old. A magnificant age, sad to lose them I know.... Commiserations.
Burna
Sorry to hear this Bobbeh We have 4 cats (nearly 5 due to feeding a stray tom) and I dread anything happening to them. One of our cats looks exactly like yours, beautiful looking cat mate. Over many years I have lost two cats, one middle aged and one very young (4 months) due to being hit by cars and it's never easy no matter what age the cat is, but I do have many happy memories as I'm sure you do Bobbeh. Time does heal.

Rob
it was the day after that my parents decieded he had to be put to sleep and i hugged him at the surgery then left the room..the sad thing was he stumbled about and tried to follow me...I still think of him all these years on..he was my best mate...I tried to not cry coz didn't want to un-nerve him. Time heals and at least he is not suffering now... Si Jesus man, that's just brought tears to my eyes now, and I'm in the office.
