Reeves1
Hi people well theres three things to this question First - A good set for about 800, but much be able to recline with good padding do to the other halfs back condition!!! Second - A good set of harness, what do you recommend (something that secure but doesnt take an age to strap into) Third - How do you install them (ideally im after to replacement the standard strap) (also do they have to bolt into the rear bench or can they install just in the front if that makes sense) as ideally still want the rear bench for mates!) Brazil
A pair of Recaro Speed's cost about 800 new; they are similar to the OEM Recaro's that came in some model's supra's. They are made of some a leather look a like material 'looks good from images that I've seen'.

Reeves1
haha, im on the south coast so i get all the "good" wheather lol, and drive alot and find leather uncomfortible and gets tacky looking after a while plus just not a huge fan. Plus i often go for huge drives but find the drivers seat gets to hot when on leather!
sideexitsupra
I have fixed Recaros in mine out of Paul Whiffs car when he changed his along with 5 point harness. The harness was originally fixed via new bolts installed by Paul and by using the rear seat belt mountings. This was not a problem as due to the fixed backrests the rear seats were removed. Many will say you should only use a harness if you have a cage installed, as I now will shortly have. Maybe look for a harness bar but either way the rear seats will become redundant. The recaro pole positions I have also have a seat belt mounting position. It would therefore be possible to have both the harness and the normal seatbelt if required. The harnesses themselves are Cobra and very comfortable. Check with Paul to see what he can get them to you for. Should be some pics in my garage and also on Paul's website if you want to have a look. On the website look under Customers Cars and then Tims TT 6 Speed. Pudsey
I have a set of harnesses for sale should you be interested. They are virtually brand new, and when fitted had very very little use. Just thought I would give you a heads up: - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?257113-2-x-Sabelt-Race-Harnesses-4-Point-(4-inch)-(Black-amp-Yellow-in-colour).&highlight=sabelt
