Todd
3 of my valves are leaking on my 18" Kosei Racing RG's, I've been to a couple of tyre fitters but they look at the metal valves, shrug their shoulders and say I have to order them from the manufacturer as they are specialist items. Can anyone point me in the right direction for sourcing replacement valves? Thanks Todd
paulfurn
Same thing has happened to one of my Veilside Andrew racing alloys and thats exactly what I was told too. They suggested taking them to a refubishers. Ive used "Tyreweld" in the short term as Im getting some new wheels now, and this seems to have stopped the leak for the most part, though I still need to check every weekend. Id be interested to know if there is a more permanent solution.

Thanks Todd Todd, can you not unscrew the valve mechanism inside and find a replacement to fit, rather than replace the whole valve?
Todd
Good point Nic but not sure, when I got the car there were metal caps on the valves and by the first time I got round to checking the pressure the things were welded to the valves, good old metal on metal action. You can just push the outsode of the valve and you can hear the air escaping, reckon I did the damage trying to get the old caps off :thumbdown
Bobbeh
I had to get my Blitz ones specially ordered as my leaking one had corroded, I went to Dusty at MVP, he was great.

Should be here next Monday, fingers crossed. paulfurn, I asked about your VS wheels but they don't stock them so they couldn't help out.

Todd
Click the link in my Sig John for a few pics http://www.toddsonline.me.uk/cars/supra/wallpapersupra1.jpg The centre caps were rotten on my wheels so took the off and painted the centres black, which IMO looks great with the black car. Check up a couple of posts for where I'm getting the valves from, if they fit and are OK I'll post back up here to say so. Cheers Toddhttp://www.toddsonline.me.uk/cars/supra/PICT0003supra1supra1.jpg
