Guest samo11
Hi all, Do anyone know where this plug should connect to? I took the car to electrician and he said there is a part missed and it's a grounded plug. It's 16 pin but cant find the right place to connect to. Now the a/c and dashboard gauges are not working because of this plug. Please i appreciate any help. Thank u
mwilkinson
Whats your cars age and spec. It's likely a factory option that was either removed before you got it or was never fitted. If its not causing any issues tape it neatly to the loom and leave it.
Guest samo11
Thanks mwilkinson for your replay,it's 94 MKIV Ge Gulf spec like any other ge supra 94-96. But we tried to connect some wires that come from A/C unit to ground one and it's worked but the car trembled. I really despaired from this problem. This plug contain wires came from ABS computer, A/C unit, Antenna unit, stereo and dashboard gauges all these are not working now.

Nic
There are wiring diagrams in the service manual HERE
hodge
It plugs into the drivers footwell next to the fusebox there's a block connection board will about 8 multi plugs into it I'm 99.9% certain it plugs into there. You'll need to remove the side trim that covers it and you'll see where I mean.
RobUK
Think it's too far away to be from the footwell... I did think it might be off the abs module but that's behind the stereo so miles away.... The other option is its from the cruise control module that's around that area.... RobUK
Send me a return ticket to Saudi and I'll come fix it
mwilkinson
There's nothing around the steering wheel area where I can think this would go. Have you checked the footwell area like hodge said? The only other thing I can think of is the active spoiler ecu? Not seen a plug for this before and this would also be behind the main dash. mwilkinson
Another place this might go is under the steering column there is a plug which connects the dash to the body loom? Have you checked that?
Guest samo11
Guys i really appreciate your interest and i want to thank each of you. sorry for delay couz am in mandate so i'll back after 4 days to see what i can do There are wiring diagrams in the service manual HERE Thanks for thread. I tried to understand what the diagram explain for this plug but nothing accept the plug photo as attached before. It plugs into the drivers footwell next to the fusebox there's a block connection board will about 8 multi plugs into it I'm 99.9% certain it plugs into there. You'll need to remove the side trim that covers it and you'll see where I mean. Actually i didn't checked behind the driver footwell but i'll see if there is something hidden for this. Think it's too far away to be from the footwell... I did think it might be off the abs module but that's behind the stereo so miles away.... The other option is its from the cruise control module that's around that area.... Send me a return ticket to Saudi and I'll come fix it you are right it's to close from the stereo. I'll check for the cruise control but is there a computer for it? i saw the abs unit and it's fine. BTW you r welcome just give the date There's nothing around the steering wheel area where I can think this would go. Have you checked the footwell area like hodge said? The only other thing I can think of is the active spoiler ecu? Not seen a plug for this before and this would also be behind the main dash. Another place this might go is under the steering column there is a plug which connects the dash to the body loom? Have you checked that? The active spoiler is not applicable in my car spec like american spec. Also when i was trying to find the right place for this plug i saw white plug under the steering column connected. it's smaller than this one. Sure i will tell you what will happen after i return.Thank you guys
