The British Film Classification Board originally decided not to let it in, but with some purdent cuts here and there (irony) they have allowed it to be released apparently.

I think they said there was not one redeeming feature of the film which would originally have pursuaded them to let it in. Which is not the sort of review you get if you watch that bint on Film2011.

Just watched No. 2 the other day.

Quite "oh no, I don't believe you've just shown that!" kind of gore.

Which is why I liked it.

The main protagonist is fantastically creepy and it was his first film too.

It works nicely as a standalone movie, but is probably better if you watch the first one. First.

I didn't really like the "I can't believe you just did that" side of it, it actually made it predictable at times, but it was always going to happen given that the reason for the 1st being so mainstream was due to the shock side of it rather than the actual movie itself.

The casting for the lead was fantastic, the guy was seriously creepy at times. For his first movie he did very well IMO, as did most of the cast.

Which version did you watch? I later found out there are a few edits. The one I had was missing the colour part at the end but had the baby scene in it.

My version was in b&w and contained the baby moment.

I think my 'enjoyment' of the torture scenes was in the creepy guy's Heath Robinson approach compared to the medical expertise/precision of contained in the first one
