RobD
I've watched the first one, didn't think it was all that gory! They just looked like a kinky conga line to me.
Branners
The British Film Classification Board originally decided not to let it in, but with some purdent cuts here and there (irony) they have allowed it to be released apparently. I think they said there was not one redeeming feature of the film which would originally have pursuaded them to let it in. Which is not the sort of review you get if you watch that bint on Film2011. Rob_Mitchell
typical, why uncut it? i think there should be more crazy films in the cinema's and they should even consider doing human centipede 3D, get everyone doing the conga, be a right bonding session

Lbm
so what happens? A man walks into a bar and asks a genie to turn him into a centipede. He turns into one and spends his days traipsing round shoe shops. It's a cross between Woody Allen and Ingmar Bergman, yet with a hint of Gok Wan. Scott
Better than the first, casting was spot on... acting was ok considering the budget. Mood again was fantastic, B&W only added to it. Not for your average cinema goer though, definitely not.
Lbm
Just watched No. 2 the other day. Quite "oh no, I don't believe you've just shown that!" kind of gore. Which is why I liked it. The main protagonist is fantastically creepy and it was his first film too. It works nicely as a standalone movie, but is probably better if you watch the first one. First. I didn't really like the "I can't believe you just did that" side of it, it actually made it predictable at times, but it was always going to happen given that the reason for the 1st being so mainstream was due to the shock side of it rather than the actual movie itself. The casting for the lead was fantastic, the guy was seriously creepy at times. For his first movie he did very well IMO, as did most of the cast. Which version did you watch? I later found out there are a few edits. The one I had was missing the colour part at the end but had the baby scene in it.

I think my 'enjoyment' of the torture scenes was in the creepy guy's Heath Robinson approach compared to the medical expertise/precision of contained in the first one
Digsy
Not even remotely interested in seeing either film but you've got to admit it would make for an original new years eve fancy dress.
