Out of curiosity I had to get hold of it to see what all the fuss was about and I can confirm it is the worst film I have ever seen. I feel physically sick !! Scott Posted November 18, 2011 Share Posted November 18, 2011 I liked it. The first one that is. The idea was OK, even though it was a little bit out there. The mood of the movie was fantastic but a lot of the acting is lost in translation IMO. Acting is always going to be relative to the viewer, hence why most American movies are like cheese and ham to any reasonable movie buff. With the right cast and good direction, it could be made into a properly disturbing movie. It certainly can't be taken at face value but for the most part, the general public always will. As much as many people may have liked to have seen Tom Cruise in the male victim's role (for right or wrong reasons ) I liked the anonymity of it.
