SupraJames
Hi there Supra fans, I'm back again with another question for all you experts. I am thinking of having a Blitz Induction Kit fitted to my 93 Auto Uk Spec car. I have been told that it will not fit by some people and that it will by others. If any has a UK car and has the Blitz kit I would really like to know if it was a hassle to fit or have fitted. I have been told that the air flow sensor needs to be moved but thats all the details I have been given, any help would be much appricated. Also if anyone knows of other Blitz parts that are trouble fitting to Auto UK cars, I know the BOV specifies that it will not fit a UK Auto. Cheers people. Suprash
I have the Blitz on my Import, and from what I have seen from stock cars, I wouldnt say its much of a hassle at all. If you do have to move it, then obviously it can reach the new position ok. It should be a fairly easy operation. I had the HKS mega power flow on the car when I bought it, and replaced it with the Blitz, I cant see there being a lot of trouble concerning this, but Im sure there are people that have replaced their stock air boxes and can give more usefull information than me, as this is all I seem to be doing today, giving half usefull info.......... Suprash
Infact looking at the picture, I cant see anywhere else it could go..........
SupraJames
Thanks Ashley, well we will have a go at it unless I get more info saying it wont fit. Torque IC will be doing the work so they said they would have a go at it, so we will see, thanks for your comments. Franmaster
Bobbeh
I think the prob was due to the air flow meter / sensor on the UK models.. Im sure there are people on this board who've had them fitted though.
SupraJames
Thanks Bobbeh, thats was I was told the problem was, but will wait to see if any UK owners that have the kit get in contact. Many thanks. Franmaster

SupraJames
Adam, Thanks for the pics they are sweet, spoke to torque IC today who have the blitz kit and the hks kit in stock so on sat think we are gonna have a go at the blitz kit and if we need to butcher the hks one we will do..!! Will let everyone know how it goes, thanks again guys. Franmaster
SupraJames
Well guys, Fitting the kit did not go to well at all, Adam from the look of your photos you have the induction kit fitted straight onto the Air Flow sensor is that correct ?. Or has the pipe before the sensor been shortened ?. The whole complete pipe and sensor set up was too long to fit the cone in the engine bay, also the angle was a bit tight due the other pipe coming over the top, Adam again I see you have a modified pipe there. I think I need to go back to Torque IC and we can have another go.!!! Part 3 still to come..! Franmaster
Adam_SG
Fran it took a little time but the airflow meter is in the same place as the stock one, you cant use the metal pipe with the bend in it, i'll take it off tomorrow for ya and give you a step by step guide that should sort you out m8. SupraJames
Many thanks Adam, it would be a great help, the guys that were doing it were a bit stuck as they had never done one on a UK spec car, only Jap spec that does not have the air flow meter. Cheers again mate. Franmaster
