Been browsing the forums anonymously for quite a while now and have finally made the decison to buy my first supra. Looking to upgrade sometime before christmas but as my funds are quite low i'll be looking at an N/A rather than a TT (unfortunately), still it's an upgrade from my current car... My location is set to Cornwall as most of my free time is spent in Falmouth, however due to being in the army i work 200 odd miles away on Thorney Island. Looking forward to getting involved with the community and getting to some meets when i get my new car, may even make an appearance before to get to know people. The NA is a hell of a car, you will got alot of people putting the GE engine down, but it is bullet proof, fairly quick and fairly tourqy, I love my NA although I am craving the extra power it still puts a smile on my face. If you intend to do performance mods then save up for a TT as the NA's 5 speed is not the strongest. Going from a GTI im sure you would be pleased. Noz Posted November 16, 2011 Share Posted November 16, 2011 NA is a solid engine. turbo conversion easily enough. but save for a TT if thats what u want. i wanted to motor around for a bit before i went turbo, as i didnt want to wait. but trust me, going turbo is a expensive thing, and more of an experience than a finanical or sensible idea. buying a manual NA and going turbo is the same as an auto TT if not a phat lump thrown in on top. decide what you want a save. i wanted an NA, now i want to turbo it. if u want a TT save bailey has a real nice example for sale, but there are LOADS of nice TT;s for sale, just have to find that needle in the haystack Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
