Parry_10
Nice Luc:) Have you noticed a difference on your IAT temps running the ethanol? Mine were around 45 degrees in traffic now with the methanol 35 degrees in traffic. Also egts around 150 degrees lower iirc- (methanol)
Luxluc
Hey Chris, yes ... EGT's go down seriously. I had 120-150°C less during motorway cruising at 100mph on my way back home. ACT are not affected by the fuel though!

Guest Budz86
Might have missed it Luc but did you go for the ball bearing option on the turbo? Seems to spool pretty well that!

Guest Budz86
I'm surprised they let you just fill that lot up and chuck it in the back of the car; think there is some law over here about how much you can buy in cans at a time!

Luxluc
Serious bargain that, I so wish they would bring it to the UK. Be interesting to see what % it is at the pumps. I just checked Jamie. I had around 50ltrs in the tank and Toucan indicated 12% ethanol. I added around 30 ltrs of E85, and the Toucan indicates 37% ethanol now. A rough calculation gives around 82-85% ethanol in the E85 mix ... sound good thus

Luxluc
I've just taken the Supra for a little spin. I'm low on ethanol for the moment, and will head to the E85 station tomorrow. I was running 12% ethanol today, and wanted to see how spool is. It feels more lively than the old BL366 unit. In 4th gear, the CEA 6766 turbo makes : - 0.3 bar @ 3000rpm - 0.6 bar @ 3500rpm - 1.1 bar @ 4000rpm - 1.75 bar @ 4500 rpm Due to the low ethanol level, it won't boost more than that. On 50%, it pushes 1.9 bar max (amazing that Syvecs ECU). I will see how the spool is on 50% ethanol ... I had the impression it was spooling quicker on my way back from Abbey (when I had 50% ethanol in the tank). Videos will come soon ... the weather forecast unfortunately announces rain for the rest of the week. Little update. I went for a spin today ; ethanol content was 33%. In 4th gear - 0.4 bar @ 3000rpm - 0.7 bar @ 3500 rpm - 1.4 bar @ 4000 rpm The increased ethanol content makes a massive improvement in spool. I filled the tank up to 50% this evening. I will take the GoPro with me for the next spin. Luc
