Luc's SRD1XXX Supra

  • 3 weeks later...

6 days to go before my Supra goes to SRD. ETA is planned on Monday around 10AM.

Lee has numerous works to do.

We will go for a full ethanol capable system with twin Walbro 485 pumps and teflon fuel lines allround.

The only issue we have is that ASNU hasn't come up with bigger injectors than the 1100cc I have right now. These should be fine for 900+rhhp on pump fuel, but not for ethanol as a 60% mix will add another 10% powerwise.

Ryan will probably map it on V-Power first...and I will head back to SRD and Ryan for an ethanol map once bigger injectors are available.

Lee will update the thread. :)

It's not really available over here...in Germany and France only. The closest E85 gas station is 50mls away unfortunately. :(

I will have to play with jerrycans in my garage. I won't be using ethanol regularly, as I prefer to fill up the tank easily at the local Shell station. For some special occasions, ethanol can be used though. :D

Luc, does Syvecs offer flex fuel? Also how does it compare to the ProEfi and AEM Infinity (if available)?

Those ProEfi's get killer results what I've seen and don't break the bank. If Syvecs has a flex fuel option that works just as well as the ProEfi, then I'm sold :)

Yes, we have run many cars now on a flex sensor with the syvecs.

Works very well especially with the toucan display so you can monitor the %

I will arrive at Lee's on Monday around 10AM.

I will head to the airport around 11.30AM, as my plane leaves at 1430.

This will give me enough time to go through the works with Lee.

Is this with the new 6766 also? Should make some nice figures

Yes Kaan. Mapping of the CEA 6766 1.00AR turbo is planned on 15th of April.

If ASNU won't come up with bigger injectors until then, Ryan will map it on VPower first...and I will come over for an injector swap and ethanol map (with flex fuel setup) later in spring/summer. :)

The ASNU 1100 will have to stay in the car until ASNU come up with something bigger.
