supra_aero
I bought this one as figured for 30 quid its half the price of a speeding ticket not to mention increases in insurance if u get points! http://www.amazon.co.uk/INFORAD-Speed-Camera-Warning-System/dp/B003JBJFPS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1321396326&sr=8-
jonathanc
I've got the best speed camera detector ever... don't speed Jokes aside does that thing work? Seems a bit on the small size?
supra_aero
I dunno. Will hopefully arrive tomorrow. Size is a packet of chewing gum apparently. I'm going to mount it on dash just below drivers eye level using slip proof mat Will test it when it arrives. For 30 pounds seems like a bargain. Has excellent reviews every where too. Rob
I thought it was illegal? had one in my glove box for a year and have never used it.an old snooper my mate gave me. I still have a Snooper S6 Neo in the supra that I bought way back in 2001-ish. The uploading/downloading still works over a phone line. supra_aero
Does snooper work well? Mines just arrived . Didn't realise covers all Europe too. Will post results tomorrow for those who care. It is very small gotta say.
neo2810
They do alert to mobile camera zones - check out PocketGPSWorld Yeah, PocketGPSWorld hold an up-to-date database of all the UK's static camera sites, as well as every current, registered mobile camera location. The problem with it is that it warns you of the mobile sites whether they are active or not so you have to take care each time. Still, it's better to slow down a little often than pay a lot seldom. It is very small gotta say. My one has certainly paid for itself in the times I was blatting about our sceptered isle in the line of work. Nowadays I live in one of the only two counties to have no fixed speed cameras, so I rarely use it. It worked well, and also provides a good speedo when the supra one isn't wholly accurate. By using the smart mute settings, things like shop doors and traffic lights that use K-Band are not annoying. Having put the supra back on the road though last month, I have left it installed on the dash, not much risk of it being stolen here in this "estate." There have been two car-crimes in the last 17 years.

Pretty much same as this device then. First impressions is its very small and portable. Ironically this turns out to be a negative as its so small and light its jumps around my dash on the slip proof mat. But that said it does have a sticky base if I want to use that. Seems accurate. For free lifetime updates, 30 pound delivered u can't go wrong really. Lights up and beeps when approaching camera sites in good time before the gatso. Well worth it in my opinion!
