Kirk
I don't understand the need for a water temp gauge. As soon as the engine reaches unreasonable levels the stock gauge will move I can promise you!
JamieP
Slightly off topic but which supra is that?
Bossco
I don't understand the need for a water temp gauge. As soon as the engine reaches unreasonable levels the stock gauge will move I can promise you! Whats an unreasonable level? I've seen temps in excess of 120 degrees and the stock gauge has been in it's normal position.
Kirk
Probably around those temps but mine has always moved accordingly although my sensor was brand new so I don't know if that contributed to it actually working correctly or not. Needless to say it told me when I had severe problem's I.E. when ATF leaked inside my radiator and turned the entire coolant content into whipped cream. J_Supra_07
I look at the oil pressure so I know when I can give it some beans :-). Iam going to get the new display from Ryan to tidy the dash back up.
fuldhat
Oil pressure dont really tell you when the oil is warm enough.. Oil tempeture do.. IMO, the boost gauge is the most useless gauge you can have. The boost controller shows the same thing and lots more. And if you have time to see what the boost gauge is on, then you are driving to slow.
