Guest kaiden
How does the car control the heating of the glass and jets? Is it through a control box/unit of some sort or through the unit themselves? As I want to just put them both off a switch in the car. chrispot
the heating of the glass is through the heater controlls and the jets i assume you mean washer jets, and these are controlled by the washer wiper control. why would you want to put a switch in? is this thread a wind'up? regard chris
mwilkinson
Sounds like a troll thread to me.
Tyson
Sounds like a troll thread to me. It might be genuine as its coming up to winter and the first thing you will want to do is clear the windscreen plus make sure the washer jets are working as there will be loads of slush and salt on the roads. Are the washer jest on a UK even heated?
Tyson
Are the washer jest on a UK even heated? Yes but if you leave it ticking over for 5 or so minutes the engine bay heat does it anyway. When you put the rear screen heater on it activates the wing mirror and washer jet heaters too.
mwilkinson
I therefore humbly revoke my disparaging comment. In fact I think I'm the troll here
