Lude
i am in the process of removing the turbo pipes the give a clean and paint. was thinking of removing the wastagate VSV completely (as pictured here...) as most of the pipes that come off it are blanked off now. can i do this? does this pipe go to it though? (thin one next to the letter 3) my cars away up my garage at the moment.... or does that pipe go somewhere else or can that be blanked off too? Stephen G
I take it your running true twin turbo. I think the pipe you have marked you just link to the small hard pipe at the top of the turbos Edited November 10, 2011 by Stephen G (see edit history)
hodge
Yes that pipe goes to the VSV along with the small thin pipe that comes down from the hard lines on top of the turbo pipes.

mellonman
mate when taking things off that you know nothing about you should always mark up where they come from, dots of tipex work well. also in the first picture it clearly indicates where the pipes belong.
