It just looks so graceful when it’s in the air and its achievements in aerobatic ability were way ahead its time and also a big +1 for British engineering. The excavation of Bud Wolfe's plane is part of Dig WWII, a series for BBC Northern Ireland by 360 Production to be presented by Dan Snow and due to be shown next year.
