How do you pick stuff up so it hovers in order to place it over peoples heads?

I've been playing it for a good 10 hours so far. It's massive size is a bit daunting though. I have so many side quests, that I've forgotten what half of them are. I make my way to the objectives of each one, but on speaking to the person, I still regularly have no idea what it's about.

Press and hold X on a ps3

The only way i can play it is to do one quest at a time, and not talk to anyone until its finished. I made the mistake of taking a job on last night. It tied into a main misson quest so i did them both at the same time. Im not sure what would have happend if i had not known about the little side quest. My guess is i would have failed it.

Great game.. bought this a few days ago and with the sup in with dude for a few days it would be rude not to clock up the gameplay hours :)

Finding it hard to block magic spells that they throw at you ?!?! every time i seem to block even a sword attack i still take extreme damage. im level 9 and have come across a few hefty wizards, trolls and a dragon.. i cant seem to inflict enough damage !! suppose i will get used to it :(

Another fun hour wasted.

Awesome bit of the day

I find a random cat looking humanoid effort, i think hes trying to sell me booze. I ask him if its against the law. He then goes off on one about me getting the guards and attacks me! Well it was the wrong time of the day for cat man and i had bigger claws, I ate the body!

The games difficulty seems savage compared to previous games. I don't remember dying so much in any previous elder scrolls games. My last travel last night saw me making my way across the landscape towards a town, when a dragon starts circling. I've killed two dragons so far in the game, so I thought I'd try for the third. Though this bad ass was a bronze skinned one. He began his attack so I ran for cover, only to run into a sabre tooth tiger thing, and two wolves. Safe to say, I died pretty quickly.

I've put abour 18 hours in now and I'm level 13... it's an awesome looking game and plays like a dream.. I just keep losing my life to it!?

I've got the horse, a fully furnished house.. and a side-kick 'Lynda', who lives with me :)

I litrally got to bed at 00:30 last night after promising myself 'just half an hour' at 21:00!? It's a case of doing this, and then trying that.. and then you've lost four hours!? :D

I recommend...

Just a heads up folks, skyrim is currently half price in Gamestation for £22.49 ...

At the rate its selling I doubt the deal will be on for much longer, so if your thinking about getting one now is the best opportunity before it goes back up to £42.99 :)

I had it delivered from them today. I wasn't going to bother but at that price I couldn't say no :)

I've got this on the 360 and i've logged a fair few hours now. I'm level 35 now. I've done a hell of alot of missions but i still have tonnes and tonnes to go as i've been purposefully keeping clear of the bigger towns, besides Whiterun, so that i can get all my side missions done. I've got my smithing really high now so i made a full set of Glass Armour last night to go with my dual glass battle axes, i look the business ;) I still need to join the legion, join the thieves guild and join the cloaks yet so about another gazillion hours to go haha. The game itself is alot harder than its predecessors, the amount of times i have died is rediculous. All i'm going to say is make sure you upgrade your armour and keep to a preferred type of weapon to improve its effectiveness. I use One Handed and its into the 50's now, my Archery is above 60 i believe. Spend your skill points wisely as well, ive spent a lot in smithing and increasing the damage of my Bow and One handed.

Anyone on 360 who wants to add me for a chat while playing, TUx I Logic I

Send me a message when you do though so i know your off the Forum :)

I found out an easy way to get to lv100 in smithing so u can make awesome Daedric Armour. Just make hundreds of iron daggers over and over( one iron ignot and one leather strap) i boosed myself up and armour raring is 300ish with it all on. The game is so huge on the mission front. Ive done most of the main ones sadly but still have so much to do in side quests and plenty of dragons to pwn :D
