Which NA-T Spark Plugs?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

was wondering, what spark plugs would I need for the GE engine when running boost.

I've bought plugs before, they were the wrong ones. I also bought some Iridiums, they ended up being the wrong ones as well....

So any advice would be helpful, as I'd like to actually fit this set :)

Thanks

They would have to be, it just sounds like your saying that you gained 80BHP from just fitting iridium plugs,

which is kind of misleading to the OPs original question, as no plug will give a performance increase ,iridium plugs where developed for increased service life on engines that are difficult to reach the plugs like the Mitsubishi V6 engines,

same with platinum, just an older tech, copper core plugs are perfectly adequate for any application as long as you don't expect them to last 30K mls.

Well a more accurate way to describe what I was trying to say is I was down 80bhp because of not using them. I just didn't work it correctly :p

Still incorrect, you where down 80BHP due to worn plugs and not being able to map it correctly because of worn plugs;):p

Also a lot of mappers wont use iridium to map due to there sensitivity to damage from det, i have seen so many posts on other forums and this

with tales of problems due to the use of iridium plugs causing damage when det has been encountered, which is the reason i mentioned it,

I know that most problems reported where using Denso iridiums, so it may or may not apply to other makes, but even so it was enough to put me of ever using them.
