Branners
Had a Stillen front fitted so the active spoiler came off. As expected theres now a warning light on the rev counter and the active spoiler light is flashing. Did a search on how to fix this but couldnt see anything obvious. How do you stop the warning lights when you have removed the active spoiler, and where is the active spoiler ECU located? thanks

heckler
The ecu is behind the stereo headunit iirc? Yup - has quite a wide, white plag - just disconnect it

Branners
Homer has first dibbs on the active spoiler set, if he drops out I will let you know how much the whole lot is going for. Thanks for the links folks. Bit of reading to do in those two threads so will have a look and see if I can do it myself.
Branners
Just about to take the dash apart to get to this. Just need some clarification on how to stop the warning triangle. Just removing the active spoiler ECU isnt enough? If so then I need to link pins 3 and 4 together on the active spoiler plug, is that the plug behind the bumper or the one behind the dash? Its the plug behind the bumper, well thats what I did anyway and has been fine for 3 years now!!

Pixelfill
mine came from the factory without a spoiler and all I had to do (electrically) to fit the spoiler was connect the plugs to the motor, switch and the ECU - it stands to reason that to disable it on your car all you should need to do is disconnect the plugs. No need to link any pins. I had the very same problem. I found out you need to press the "off" button from the switch (with the power on) and then remove the plugs from motor and ecu. That way you don´t get any errors and don´t need to link any pins
Branners
Just been out in the car and noticed the MIL is off, so just removing the ECU did it. Just got the brake light tell tale to sort out now, even though none of the bulbs have gone.
