Graham1984
Prob a noob question but I am going to decat my Na supra using the whifbitzs 1st and 2nd decat pipe and I asked them about gaskets and how many etc but they replied saying Hi graham, You don’t have to use gaskets, exhaust sealant works just as good. I can supply some high temp sealant for £9 for a tube if you like. I just thought I would ask you guys as my mate (mechanic) who is fitting it thinks they do need gaskets etc as he says it will last longer than just sealant on its own. Any info you guys can give me would be great as he has not seen any pics of the decat kit and I am not the best explaining it to my mate either but would like to get the order sorted and paid for. Geo
Pauls right, you don't need a gasket. I used high temp Exhaust sealant. Basically you apply the sealant, then install the decat, soon as the temps get high the sealant becomes air tight, job done.

Graham1984
Yeah I thought seeing as it is saturday to give the guy a break. I didn't realise that you didn't need gaskets anywhere from fitting both decats all the way up to joining the manifold at all.
