Guest paul bell
Hiya does anyone know what offset i should go for on rotas im stumped. Ive been looking at them in gloss black but they only do them in 30 front and 30 rear. Matte black are 35 front and 30 rear, what looks best i dont want the car to look like a moon buggy[sHOCK][/sHOCK]
ellis
Stock offset is 50 all round mate so the nearest to that the better. You'll be goverened by the offsets offered by the wheel companies though.
Guest paul bell
What do you rekon i should go for ellis
ellis
Well the Jades are 38 and 35 if I remember rightly and they don't look like Moon Buggy wheels! I think you'll find other members with Rotas on in those offsets that are OK. I'm sure they'll be around later after they get out of school/jail/borstal etc

JamieP
Offsets for stock body depend on what width wheels you are going for.
Guest paul bell
18x 8.5 front 18x 9.5 rear

Guest paul bell
Sorry to be a pest so the lower the offset like 35 down to 30 the wheels stick out the arch more
JamieP
Yup, lower the number the more they stick out, have a play with the offset calculator, if you know the widths/offsets of your current wheels and new wheels it will tell you how much more they will stick out. http://www.1010tires.com/wheeloffsetcalculator.asp
