its a facelift indicator adapted to be just a side light/running light.. I think...

 

Is this something that you are able to do Si? I quite like how they are on the new Mercedes & Audi's, quite clear light output. I'd like them as side lights so then I can turn them on at dusk.

Are Day time running lights the same as side lights? or is one brighter than the other?

Think they are the same fella, so day lights are always on (which I don't really want to be honest). I like to put my lights on early & when it's a bit gloomy/rainy, just the standard little bulb at the front looks quite feeble.

 

Also is it possible to have the LED's a proper sharp White? I notice some that people have put on have a tint of blue & I want to avoid that.
