SupraP-Z
Hey all, recently ive been hearing this high pitched annoying squeaking noise on the front passengers side wheel, it only happens when i turn the steering wheel slightly to the right though. Any ideas what it could be? Wheel bearing maybe? To top it up the brakes are quite squeaky too...new pads/discs on the cards?

Tyson
I'd check: 1.Disc warped 2.Disc thickness (lip) 3.Pad thickness 4.Caliper seals 5.Bearing (not too sure how) I'm betting its caliper seals (bearings tend to last a very long time) but its best to check the easy stuff first like discs and pads. SupraP-Z
Do you think thats whats causing it to squeak when i turn the wheel to the right though? the brakes are squeaky as it is....but this happens when im not braking at all, just cruising along, turn the steering wheel slightly to the right and i hear an awful high pitched squeak like theres a mouse stuck in the wheel somewhere lol

David P
The brake pads are designed to 'squeak' when they need changing.

Bossco
If you have Jap calipers then Im guesing the clip that holds the pad in place is rubbing on the disc.
