mellonman
is a -8 an oil return line big enough for a dbb turbo? i know they have a restrictor on the feed and that the normal oil return is a - 10 and the return kit i have is -8 so was wanting to check before it gets fitted. Scott
I can't see 8AN being an issue with a dbb. As you say it has a restrictor so it won't be a high volume of oil wanting past. No harm in getting AN10 though. You will need 2 fittings I would have thought, one for the tubby and one for the block.
mellonman
i know just done about £80 on fittings just for the oil return line, there are so many little bits for a single conversion that get over looked when budgeting for! i would say all the little bits, breather system, catch can, oil and water lines, intercooler piping, filter + piping, heat wrap, turbo blanket, can easy make it up to £

For my breather system I'm simply running to -10AN into a -10 to -12an Y connection and then -12an to the rear of the car. That alone is going to work out around £200 lol. It's insane. I'm just over what I budgeted for at the moment and I still have a couple of odds and sods to buy. £10103 I'm at including the clutch that I'm still to buy and the ECU that I am in the process of buying. By the time all is said and done I'm hoping for just over 11k.

On my build, I think it was around £700 just on fittings, hoses, clamps, wrap, etc etc
