Chewie
After 10 years and while the Supe still has 51 weeks MOT, it's time to sell up, get something newer and a little more practical (Focus RS). It's an M reg UK Spec auto with 69,000 miles and more or less unmodified. Yes boring isn't it. I've had some interest but to be honest I'm absolutely clueless what to pitch it at. Last year, a French chap offered £11K but then bottled out and bought an Audi TT (???). Comments.
jonathanc
Being a UK spec it must be worth something (especially to people from Europe). I would start somewhere near 10k? p/s: nothing wrong with Audi TT Although I am craving for more power now...
Scooter
Well there is a nice looking 100K mile white one at £7,500 and has been around for a while but is in Northern Ireland which makes it harder to sell. I personally would value the 10yrs ownership and you are lucky that the UK market is strong still, the French and the youth here like/need them for ease of registration and ease of insurance respectively. I would like to see it pitched at around £7,300 given the imports Jurgen has for sale but I suspect you can get a bit more due to the above reasons. Chewie
Jurgen is the price setter on the grey imports. Most of the UK specs I've seen are well into 100,000 miles. That plus the EC friendly registration and insurance could probably squeeze a few bob. £10K? Worth a punt. shaky
Going to pm you a trade sale of a low mile uk sup so you get an idea, hope it helps.
Abz
Put it up for £10k, I'd imagine it would easily go for £9k. As mentioned it is more desirable to the European market which helps its value.
hogmaw
69k for a uk spec is low so 9-10k shouldn't be a problem, esp if unmolested
Chewie
Written up the advert for Pistonheads but just can't press the submit advert button. It's like shooting your pet dog. I'll drink about it over the weekend. LOL!
The Raven
Mine had a fair few more miles than that 96k. Sold it two years back for 8k cash.
dude
At the present time I would of thought 8K was a bit hopeful.

Chewie
The only reason for selling is having owned it for 10 years, I fancy a change. I'll stick in PH for £10K and see what happens. I'm in no rush to sell and with a Caterham and two motorbikes, I don't need an immediate replacement and there's no urgent dodgy surgical operation for which I need the money for.
