tony tt
Anyone got problems with the Blitz 1.3bar rad cap for the stock rad? I think mine is leaking a bit when its under pressure theres spits of coolant over the top of the engine, Top hose is ok so im thinkin it can only be that cap! Any thoughts? Cheers. Chris Wilson
Running a 1.3 bar cap with an original (old) heater matrix is asking for trouble. NEVER run a higher pressure cap than needed, the only real need is on race cooling systems where you need a safety margin if you run hot in a race, and you want to stop the system boiling out coolant. There's probably no one here who should actually be running higher than stock pressure caps, it's just asking for a tired matrix or core plug to fail.
