wile e coyote
Hi guys im taking my calipers off to get them painted and cant seem to stop the brake line from dripping. I have the braided lines which i cant crimp like you would with normal lines, i have tried a 10mm bolt nut and washers but still drips, i also have put a bag over the bottle to help. Anybody with any other ideas please.
Scott
You're thumb would do a good job Nut and bolt will work but you will need a good sized nut and bolt so that the seal is good, also you will need copper washers.. like the washers you mount them with
Andy-No-Knee
2 small squares of ally sheet and a set of molle grips per brake line.

Chris Wilson
Just let them drip into a container(s) You will (should...) be replacing the fluid, surely? Don't clamp braided lines, you WILL damage them. M10 nuts and bolts through the banjo fittings, with a Dowty seal or soft alloy crush washer either side is the nice way to do it, if you really don't want to lose the fluid. I don't think we've ever had an assortment of them ourselves though, none of the workshop suppliers that land into us on a VERY regular basis have ever offered a kit.
