Guest _nuno_civic_
Newbie saying Hi. Fairly young but been modifying for about 3 years now, my 1st real project was my ek civic, that was built from the grown up. I sold up to buy a supra and be done with it but the bug bit back and i bought another civic and currently building that up. Im all about function > form and scene kids need not apply. I hadnt touched my civic in 3 months as lost motivation, and started looking for an rs4 and e46 m3's i then stumbled across JamieP's supra on youtube, i was randomly browsing dan's (advanced ME) account for more videos on the aspira race car, then popped back on here, and the inspiration i get from the build threads is intense, the rs4 and m3 ideas have gone down the pan (thank god) im now more motivated to finish my civic and currently looking for a nice facelift NA to buy as a project car and see where it goes from there! Thanks all Nuno.
Josh
Welcome. Sounds interesting! If you're looking for tuning potential, get a TT from the start.
Guest _nuno_civic_
hi bud. ye the civic is pretty crazy, built engine, ohlins, big boost etc etc. thanks for the advice! it will more than likely be a track based build up, so not looking for massive power with major lag etc. like said i dont really know much about these cars so be using the search function plenty of times! lol Nuno. Oh cool, well for track, I'd say a 6 speed TT would be good, then for more power (380-400bhp) you can go BPU for not too much money. Get some pictures of your Civics up
Guest _nuno_civic_
hmm BPU sounds interesting tbh. heres a few pics of the previous build. imi
Not exactly to my taste however 10/10 for the effort considering you've done the work yourself, engine bay looks neat.
