Ian C
Something that's always bugged me and is a pain in the backside to test - does tightening the adjuster = more vac or less vac to open the valve? Mine always worked OK out the factory, I fiddled with it once years ago but can't recall which way I turned it. Suddenly I'm getting the "rat tat tat" of stall more when lifting off from comparatively light loads, so I think it's gummed up a bit, but I'd like to adjust it to open more easily than it currently does, see if that fixes it. I just dunno which way to turn it and it's tricky around the city streets to test
Nic
I'm pretty sure it's clockwise = more vac needed to open the valve. HKS say to adjust 1/8 turn at a time when adjusting.

Ian C
So if it sounds like it's not opening as it should, I should try undoing the bolt? Righto. Might have to wait until spring though as I've washed and waxed the car and refuse to drive it in rain
Ian C
Just to finish this off, I have driven it in the rain, and while getting my aircon sorted I noticed the K&N air filter wasn't in the right place and the mesh had merrily sawed through the hose feeding the BOV, hence it not opening any more
