hodge
Are these actually nessessary. I've no intensional of doing any track days in the car and when the car is driven hard it's in a straight line. How hot does this fluid actually get on normal steady everyday driving. Thanks John
sdistc
I think if Toyota has provided the car with one, there is a reason for it. Going bigger might be ok, but going smaller is not a good idea, I don't reckon.

Toyota also provided the car with a charcoal canister but there just 1 big heavy plastic waste of space:p
CanisLupus
The ingenious previous owner of my car has removed the PAS Cooler completely. IMHO not the best thing he did i'm whiping off PAS Fluid on a regular basis especially after some rounds around the ring. I'd leave it as is or if possible get a kit to move it into the wings

Ian C
I wouldn't have thought it's necessary unless you hit a lot of bends in rapid succession, i.e. on a track or back lane shenanigans.
Chris Wilson
On tight twisty tracks like Llandow, yes, for a blast up Snta Pod, or a trip to the town, no, for most peoples ideas of fast road driving possibly no. Two ways to be sure, a stick on temperature reading label on the reservoir, or a temp probe in the return line linked to the Syvecs and log it. You have the technology.... http://temperature-indicators.co.uk/acatalog/industrial_adhesive_indicator_strips_and_labels.html
hodge
Think I'm going to bin it and monitor the temps. Another job to the list for winter.
