TubbyTwo
right reset the unit went out for a blast and it hits 0.93 bar. so set that as baseline boost. wastegate set to swing type, set target boost to 1.2 bar. left the correction coefficient at 100%. now can't hit the set boost of 1.2 bar. most it will do is 1.07. tried playing with the offset but doesn't really seem to do much even at 150%. wonder if i need to redo initial setup and raise coefficient at bit. worked fine this morning could easily pass 1.3 bar if i turned it up. should have left it alone!!! ffs. TubbyTwo
Solved, it was the coefficient in the initial setup. Raised that slowly in 5% increments until I can constantly now the desired boost. It now spikes to 1.32 (as with Scott C above) and drops back to a steady 1.2bar. It was fast before, but now its insane and the lag has massively reduced. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D downside is thats a quarter of a tank gone
Samurai 20V
Glad its sorted.. Its a bit tricky to set up, but its a quality piece of kit.. Get the EVC writer and map it properly on the dyno to maximise the setup, its on my to do list!
TubbyTwo
Yeah, was reading the instructions last night, its pretty complicated once you get into all the rev mapping settings etc. Writer is the way forward!
JayRZ93
Dont have one of the actual car so I borrowed this one.. Inlet to the solenoid is from 13 and outlet is to 1.. 2 is blocked off.. http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s298/Rajeevjagath/boostthing.jpg Hey man, I have an evc 5, just about to install and my instructions show the only one of the 2 nipples on the vsv get capped(one clodest to motor) and that a hose from (B) on my solenoid runs to #1 in your pic and 13 and 2 get capped?
