d-_-b
That splitter is awesome : D that shot from the side has made me want one now! Anyone able to advise how thick the splitter is? - looks a nice thickness as you have the bevel on the edge. Lbm
Thanks everyone for your kind comments about my car and the splitter etc... I'll have to do a proper photoshoot at some point and get some new shots up on here For d[-_-]b I'd say without going outside into the scary dark and cold tonight, that my splitter is approx 1 inch thick. I'll pop out tomorrow with a tape measure to be more precise Edited October 26, 2011 by Lbm (see edit history)

jazz1
I'm sure someone like LeeP could fabricate a metal one powder coated in black, it really does help protect the bumper from bumps and chipping.

jazz1
jazz that looks great, how much are they? do you have to use them metal rod things? Not really they are optional I thought they looked silly that's why I took them off, I payed 320 for mine it's from apr. Worth every penny as that has taken the damage and still holding strong . I'm sure you could fabricate them cheaper as I payed for the name, it's a wind splitter.

Wow, no wonder they never let me near sharp tools to make things, I was massively out. It's 10mm thick, not just at the edge, but all the way through I'd say. I can't even use the old "yeah but I was standing upright at the time of guestimate" excuse. Most people on here probably know I can walk under a coffee table.
