hodge
Re your oil temps Hodge, what size hoses and fitting are you using? Are you still running the stock oil to water heat exchanger on the oil filter take off casting, or have you binned that? Have you got a thermostat in the cooler lines? Is the take off adaptor properly made with decent sized and well flowing ports? Is the oil filter itself remote? I'm using -10 braided Teflon lines Stock cooler is binned so is the stock filter housing I'm using a thermostat controlled sandwich plate from Speedflow Filter is not remote it's direct to the block/sandwich plate. Another reason why I've came to this conclusion is if I look at the TRD inner bumper in relation to the oil cooler and intercooler end tanks there seems to only be a quarter of the cooler if that in the path of airflow. Most of it seems to be tucked behind wither the end tank or the crash bar. This alone wont help. The car will be going under the knife over the winter for some extensive work so I'll see what I can come up with. Don't get me wrong, if I have to go back to viscous then that's what I'll do but I'd like to explore every option before it as there's loads of cars out there running this fan setup without issues. Lee P
What water temps are you seeing when it creeps up? Just to add Wayne's fans were not very good. Once they came on they had to stay on as they were not able to drop the temps enough to turn off. I say, get a decent fan kit to start with then look at the other things. RobUK
My 2p worth... Like you I have twin electric fans.... I killed my first set on the dragonba11. On return I purchased the whifbitz kit from a fellow member after they changed there mind/plans.... When I went to fit said kit the mountings were different to that of my SRD radiator.... So to cut to the chase... A friend works for a bugatti restoration company and offered to sort it out.... The attached picture is what was done and the original shroud is now made into something else I can't repeat the words he used to describe the original shroud but I think they have been accurately described by others

My defi water temp gauge and the temp gauge on the dash2 see different temps. At 105 degrees on the defi gauge I'm seeing 100 degrees from the Syvecs and it still slowely creeps unless I stop the car, turn in off and leave the fans on for a while. I'll drop you a p.m Lee. fuldhat
Get those Oil coolers ects moved away to the side, so that only IC and RAD are in the middle, that should sort it.
