mrmyagiii
Sometimes my jspec tt auto starts acting really weird. When driving normally there is no problem at at but when i slow down to like 10mph the revs go up and down like mad en even sometimes stalls. Last night this happened on startup and when i pressed the throttle revs didnt go up, engine made a clunky sound. Had this problem before but its not always happening. I recently changed all coil pack connectors except 1 wich looked fine, and all spark plugs. Anyone that can point me in the direction of where i should look at? mrmyagiii
The bad idling is usually triggered by a bumpy road. Could this be an IACV problem?
mrmyagiii
Today on startup it instantly stalled then after a 2nd startup i had to push the throttle down alot of times to even get the slightest response. This only happens on startup, low speed driving or occasionally on "cruising speed" (60mph) but only when the road gets bumpy. Hopefully someone can help me with this problem because its getting really annoying when i startup my car at work and i need to explain to my friends why the best looking car of town is acting this worthless. mrmyagiii
Its running rich i can tell by the smell hahah. So there`s nothing else left than check all the vac hoses? Are there some known to break down?
FOSTA
ive herd of a few spliting near the map sensor. but with age they can split anywhere really. just go over all vacume hoses. try and listen for hissing sounds. ;-)

mrmyagiii
Got PM from CW, he had someone with similar problems. Hopefully he found anything else then vac lines since i cant find any leaks or splits
Chris Wilson
The car here is running quite well, it has issues, but not anything that will help you. Have you got access to a wideband O2 sensor and readout, and a decent multimeter? I would start at checking the MAP sensor and the fuel pressure regulator both have perfect hosework to them, no leaks, no T offs to strange none stock add ons that maybe causing issues. mrmyagiii
ok Thnx for the advice
Chris Wilson
If you have a digital multimeter I can tell you what wires to probe on the MAP sensor to see if it's giving sensible voltages to the ecu. Check the hoses first though!
mrmyagiii
I have always have one with me haha. Should i measure it on startup or after a drive? But first to check all hoses around the MAP sensor?
