DARETT Posted March 17, 2012 Author Share Posted March 17, 2012 i drove 5 hours to the dyno did 7-9 pulls drove 5 hours back lol.. and then did 1500 hard miles..= a lot of top speed events.. but anyway we will always drive there as its a street car and not a trailer car. That's good stuff, but a mile event is a whole load of stress on a car! Lol Trust me I'm not having a go at GTR's as I think they're awesome. He said the only time it feels like he is actually driving it is when its flat out, said his GT3 is a much better 'drivers' car Lol, that's actually understandable I guess. Wow 9 dyno pulls and 1500miles You might have had a chance on the GTR forum mate but you are on a sinking ship over here, there is no way 1000+ R35's cost similar to run as a 1000+ Supra. same power on both cars the R35 wins hands down. No chance, Supras win everything, 1/4 mile and top speed supras are years ahead. Supras will be in the 6's this year and I cant see it being long till one cracks a 250mph mile. From what i see here, yours lasted 1500 miles and 9 dyno pulls, i must have done 500 dyno pulls and 8000 road miles in the last year alone. Jurgen-Jm-Imports Posted March 17, 2012 Share Posted March 17, 2012 From what i see here, yours lasted 1500 miles and 9 dyno pulls, i must have done 500 dyno pulls and 8000 road miles in the last year alone. mine lasted 1500 miles on full boost and 3000miles on low boost...9 dyno pulls, 35-70 20 mph to 200 plus run. this above of me engine lasting is not what we are talking.. in these 5000 miles i did 2-3 engine oil changes.. nothing else... so maintaining them once built and running IMO is the same. we are not talking how long your engine lasted vs mine.. that is reliability. And you had 4wd with the latest tech. At the end of the day what do you expect me to say? you are on a supra forum saying 1000+ GTR's cost the same to run as Supra and they beat Supras hands down in everything. Im going to stick up for the supra as will everyone else round here, you need to take your fight over to the GTR forum if you want people to agree with you, I will be 100% sticking up for the cars i love.
