dr_jekyll
hi. ive read lots of conflicting info on the clutch type of the r154 . obviously the w58 has a traditional push type set up but im reading on some sites that the 154 uses a pull type clutch and others are saying its a push type. for those that have done this swap what clutch set up did you have and if it needs to be changes what way did you go about it ? thanks, craig
JamieP
Thor might be worth talking to, my R154 on the V8 supra had an MR2 turbo clutch.
Swampy442
R154 is definately a pull type clutch, if you look at the pic you can see the slave cylinder and fork. A clutch for the Soarer TT will definately fit.

Swampy442
Yeah the slave bolts to the bell housing anyway so it would be a ball ache to convert to push anyway.
