Oh my good god!!! Insurance is ridiculous!!!

Right, where to start...

I'm 28, 2 years no claims, no crashes or convictions or points on the license... Yet when calling my insurers (let's call them Gaydrian Clux) to register a change of address, they've upped my premium to, wait for it, £3700!!!!

I've got two options, pay the monumental difference in premium today (can't split the payments apparently), or cancel my policy today.

Looks like this is my last day of driving the Supra for a while.

Roof's coming off and I've got an 80 mile drive home from a meeting... Regardless of the cold weather I'm gonna enjoy it!!

Just needed to rant. I'll be back in a Supra soon ;)

22 years old, 3 years NCB, 4 years driving no claims or points and do you want to know what the robbing swines at Admiral are charging me !!!! 440 quid its outrageous :D

How are you managing that?! I've been driving 5 years with the rest of it the same as you and mine's double yours. It's on a multicar policy with both parents on.

My step mum halved my quote, if I were you I'd take your dad off as having testes is big no no for insurance companies ! Mines on a multicar policy 3000 miles a year, on drive in a nice area and has a tracker fitted.

I also got them to mirror my no claims onto my second car :D

I removed him when I did it before and it went up by like £30. I may call them and check again, he never drives it anyway!

I asked the guy at Admiral about fitting a tracker and he said it wouldn't make any difference. I still want to get one though, just in case. I think I've got mine at 5,000 miles a year.

I was dreading insurance renewal as people have been saying for months to expect a 25% increase. My zed cost around £450 last year, I just done some test quotes and the cost is coming in same for current insurer and less with others. will have to see what my renewal notice says but certainly not the jump I was expecting.

£430 tax is still salty though :D
