Scott
I can't even remember how I stumbled across this but there's a new spiderman out in the 1st quarter of next year. The strange thing is that it isn't a sequel, they are going for a whole new remake of the remake of the remake of the original. I know it's been 10 years or so but that's absolutely nothing as far as a movie is concerned. Anyone else smell a cash pinata?

staples230uk
Granted it was not a patch on the spiderman films but this happened with the hulk, done in 2003 with Eric Bana, then redone in 2008 with Edward Norton. Wonder who is the bad guy in this one? They surely can't do the green goblin????? Yes I am a marvell fan lol

I see VERY little difference going by the trailer. Justin Booboy looks and 2011 effects etc is about the only difference you will see IMO. As for the Hulk, I was happy that was re-made. It was a horrible movie, the remake had to be made to save the franchise. I thought the 2nd remake was a decent movie TBF, the first one I would rather forget entirely. I agree the first hulk was pap, the re-make was so much better.......Don't get why they dropped Ed Norton out of The Avengers? Cant wait to see that next year!! I can only imagine he had other commitments as I can't imagine the production company not doing everything they can to pull the full "original" cast together. The 3rd hulk in nearly as many years
Scott
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0948470/ I stand corrected, it's actually the lizard man that's the 'bad guy'. At least that's something I guess

Yes I am a marvell fan lol If your a marvell fan you will notice that the comics had various different spiderman redesigns/adaptions over the years This film is just another adaption of one of the comics taking in a different idea just like they are doing with superman and what they did with The hulk and conan They are not remakes, they are revisits to a different comic story
Wez
Judging by the trailer this is going to be a 3D experience, something the last remake was not
Attero
3D films are rubbish though. Apart from maybe Avatar. The CGI looks dated in this film. Not worth watching I'm guessing. Didn't like spiderman anyway.
a98pmalcolm
I heard they did it to make a less geeky and and darker side spiderman due to all the new marvel films.. Ironman.. Bad ass Thor.. Bad ass Captain america.. Bad ass ect ect But the toby maguire spiderman films utter cheese and hes a geek so to remake spider man even with a different logo to make him look "cooler" they did this. In all honesty I really liked the Toby Maguire films.. Perfect peter parker!!

Matt H
I like Spiderman as a character, but hated each of the Tobey Maguire films. I consider the casting of said actor and Kirsten Dunst as terrible choices. That, the 'far too childish' stories and over use of CGI made them a big disappointment for me. Apparently someone else in the movie world also thought so. I hope this new incarnation takes heed of what made Nolan’s Batman revamp so good by adding an element of darkness and atmosphere. In my opinion, Spiderman is to Marvel, what Batman is to DC, so there’s no reason why a new Spiderman film couldn’t be ‘great’. Which that said, I’m unsold on the new casting (again). We shall see.
