TopgunTT
Hi guys, I have recently bought my son a fiat punto to learn to drive in, However the bonnet has some deep scratches and plenty of stone chips, Just wondered how much do reckon just the bonnet would cost to have resprayed? Would one of these mobile chip repairers be able to sort this? It doesn't have to be a great job, Lasting a couple of years would be fine. Cheers. Attero
Not sure about the mobile chip repairers, but for a full bonnet respray, I'm guessing you would be looking at about £60-80? That's going by what I got mine done for, £80 on the Supra. And that was a large bonnet. But then again it was a cheap job (courtesy of having a mate who spray paints for a living) with fantastic results. So I'm guessing nearer the £80 mark. TopgunTT
Cheers, £80 doesn't seem too bad, The rest of the car is pretty tidy for 2002 punto, Just the bonnet needs some tlc. I suppose i should ring around and get some different quotes, I was just after a rough idea.
jim
Maybe it's dearer over here, but I'd have thought you'd be lucky to get it done for £150.

Tyson
It all depends of the quality you want. The saying you get what you pay for springs to mind. I would have thought 200 pounds wouldn't be far off the mark.
Abz
What about getting a replacement bonnet? Might work out cheaper? Try eBay for cars which are getting scrapped, or even a local scrap yard.

evinX
Rub it down, skim filler on it, and sand level, prime the filled areas, wet flat the bonnet and send it right for paint and save some £££
