Any Toyota Majesta Crown experts here?

Hello all!

My friend has just picked up a 1993 Toyota Majesta Crown with a 2JZ-GE ( not the 1UZ v8 :( )

There are a few electrical issues that we can't seem to figure out.

Dash display doesn't read the speed, fuel or engine temp. It also doesnt change when you press the ride height and TEMS buttons. They just stay lit up.

A speed signal seems to be reaching the dash as the HUD that shows on the windscreen is changing, however the LCD screen is goosed and not showing the numbers correctly.

We re-installed the air ride suspension as it was about 1" off the floor on some dodgy cut springs and it was horrible. We can't seem to get it to adjust.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Well the suspension does adjust now. And the TEMS button seems to work. However when you press the height adjust or TEMS button it still doesn't change the lights on the dashboard. Speed fuel and temp gauge still not working. Any ideas or pointers would be appreciated.

Cheers

Checked all the fuses I can find. Its definitively not bulb issue. Its digital clocks that read 188km/h I will get a pic up to show you. Easier than describing.

The displays across the bottom work perfectly. The only thing that works on the top part is the light that signifies O/D for the autobox. And whatever I press the lights for the suspension never change but they function ok.

The main thing I want to get working is the speedo. This is all it shows whatever speed I'm at

I really hope its not busted. Don't think it will be easy finding another one. I have tried resetting the plugs and have not spotted any converters back there. Could it have anything to do with the Cobra alarm? It looks to be wired into pretty much everything further down under the dash.
