This is my Toyota supra which many of you will have seen me building over the last few months,if not the link is at the bottom of the page. The car is a 1993 L reg import 5speed manual and was registered in this country 01,07,2001 since then its had 2 owners and then me (the guy i got it off was the owner of hallmark cards), ive owned it since 28,07,2006 and i can honestly say ive had NOTHING go wrong with it,the reliability has been incredible and still is,i must be mental for doing this. It currently has 133k which is 82,000 miles and has a full 12month MOT and 6months tax.my friend works for toyota so ive always had it serviced and checked every 3k. Ive Done 612miles since i finished it around a month ago so EVERYTHING ive done has only 612miles ware so the car needs nothing!. So what have i done to it........................................ When i got the car as you will see in my build thread it was totaly standard apart from the wheels it had which were silver,everything else ive had done these are.... -Full Respray in black (this was the original colour so the colour has not been changed),OEM side skirts,OEM rear spats,Lower lip spoiler,Bonnet vents,all 4 arches rolled,de-badged,rear wiper and areal removed and smoothed out. done 2months ago -Custom Exhaust system,2.5 inch with removable baffle inc race manifold (i have full standard exhaust system inc cat and manifold) fitted 4 years ago -UK Glass headlights,fitted 2 years ago -New BC adjustable racing Coilovers.fitted 2 months ago -New drop links.2 months ago -New battery (Toyota) 2 months ago -New disk and pads (Toyota) 2 months ago -New turbo diff,fitted 4 months ago -New gear nob (toyota) 3 years ago -Oil and filter,2 months ago -Air con re-gassed by Toyota (2 weeks ago) -New wipers (toyota) 2 months ago -New gear box and diff oil,1 month ago -Coolant change,1 month ago -New Plugs,1 month ago -New belts inc timing belt 2 months ago -New HT leads,1 month ago -New boot close rubbers (toyota),2months ago -New Rota torque alloys in bronze 8.5 front (235/40/18) 9.5 rears (275/35/18) fitted 1 month ago -Rear windows tinted limo black,done 2 months ago -Pcb clocks inc white led interior light x2 and white LED dash lights fitted 2 months ago -Flocked Dash (removed top mounted speakers),arm rest,door cards,speaker covers,foot rest,kick plates,inner arm rest,inner glove box,steering surround,rear speaker covers inc tweeters,rear speaker panels,all rear sound system,and all boot trim.all don2 in 1mm black flock which was done around 3 months ago and fitted 2 months ago -New heater matrix (this was not broken however with the dash being out i did it anyway) -black carpet fitted 2months ago -Black roof lining,black sun visors and black interior light fitted 3 months ago -Omex shift light,dash mounted with controller mounted in foot well fitted 2months ago -New rear middle brake light LED unit fitted a week ago -New black leather gear gator and matching handbrake cover with red stitching -New OPM race deep dish wheel in black leather -Black clock rings with carbon wrap fitted 2 months ago -Carbon wrapped dash panels and inner arm rest (top inside) fitted 2 months ago -Honda civic type R bucket seats,lowered to just lower than standard supra seats fitted 3 years ago -Sabelt 4 point harnesses in red fitted 3 years ago -Custom sound system designed and made by me,fitted over the rear seats (removable in 30mins) -New JL audio 12inch sub top of the range fitted 2 weeks ago -new JL audio power cap (to stop dash light dimming) fitted 2 weeks ago -New Audison Amp,top of the range fitted 2 weeks ago -New kenwood head unit top of the range fitted 2 weeks ago -Suspension Geo set up by toyota 2 weeks ago -Painted calipers (taken back to the metal and painted black) 2 years ago -White front indicators and side repeaters fitted 2 years ago -New floor mats front and rear (toyota) I did a 14.3 run at santa pod (slip in the hall of fame quarter mile times) 2 years ago so it goes real well! its just too nice now and owes me too much money to risk a trackday so this decision has been a hard one. Surely you can wangle something to keep it? this is what im like buddy,i build something and put hours and hours into it to get it perfect then when its done i want something else hpwever i love this car as sad as that sounds as ive had it for years!!!!!!.....my mrs thinks im mental but i do the same with my motorbikes too and heres the mega stupid thing i want another supra!!!!! it wont bother me if i get zero interest to be honest as i have things i can do to this however ive made it too nice for the track and thats my problem Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Now I understand you put a lot of money into it but there's no denying the fact your going to need a very keen buyer for it to go for that price. In any case GLWS. There are some heavily modified single turbo cars with significant styling mods that are not commanding that sort of money. Guest horny_devil Posted October 14, 2011 Share Posted October 14, 2011 nice car mate....and for those who like to be different.........i'd say it's not too unreasonably priced.......sadly though...........i dont think cost of labour / amount of hours worked can ever be recovered when selling a car! at end of the day............it's an n/a auto! that said............a mint n/a auto in champagne gold color with carbon bonnet and carbon spoiler sold for £3500 here so i'd say your's worth more than that given the work done on it! glws Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
