vukelic
So, some of you may remember that my belt tensioner went and i fixed that. Now, right after, the car has begun making a high pitched squeal. Very similar to a bird chirping, coming from under the hood. I took my belt off and there was no sound. Then i spun each pulley and found that the water pump/fan is the one making a slight squeak, I'm assuming when its spinning, that the light squeak turns into a loud chirp. I then held the fan still and spun the water pump and found it is making the noise. So my question is, what's the best way to fix this? 1994 mkiv na supra. Thanks Vukelic. Paul Whiffin
Simple, change the water pump, sounds like the bearing is buggered.
