2soops
Hi All, I am about to have a set of GS300 Sport alloys refurbed and thought i'd go all out and fit some new rubber. I will be going with Michelin PSS tyres and wonder what the best size fronts and maximum size rears i can run without having the arches rolled. I think ive read somewhere that 285's will fit the rear without any modifications to the arches. Any feedback from anyone running GS300 wheels would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
AndrewOW
I know that if you have the staggered set, like mine, then 235-255 on the front, and 265-285 on the rear. I'm currently running 245 front - 275 rear, and looks about perfect to me. I used to have 285s on the rear, and they fitted just fine. The GS300 wheels were designed with the Supra in mind, so the offsets are spot on.
2soops
Thanks for that, did the 285's fit without arch rolling okay. Your car looks stunning by the way, exactly the look i am working towards.
shaky
285's did not fit on mine, only 275,but it depends on the tyre brand. Pete
Tyson
If you run a lower profile tyre you would be able to fit the 285's on, but you should check a tyre calculator to see which is the best one so your speedo isn't too far out
