Lude Posted October 9, 2011 Share Posted October 9, 2011 BMW E46, starts fine every time, 1 in 10 times you start it though, when it starts (during/after starting) it makes a sound. it still starts fine when it does this sound. the sound is exactly like a garage air gun, when doing up a nut. (the whoop noise, not the gringing noise when its finished doing up all the way) replace the starter? they are only £20 on the net, it wont be a solenoid or similar? thinking of replacing incase these are singes its on its way out....
