skippyboyo1
That's called a typo. Point being your claiming to hit 120 at the top of third when its physically not possible unless you have modified gearing or raised rev limit regardless what your speedo says. Talk about exaggeration, almost like your claim to have 280hp on an NA i didnt claim 120mph buddy? ive put my timing slips up ages ago.old news man
dr_jekyll
its easy , fit the a02 diff to your 5 speed with some 275/40/18 rear tyres . viola looong gears . my speedo eould be sayin 90 the gps would be saying 120 yes i cheated. but im back on the a01b now on 265/40s so nearly back to stock gearing but yes if you have a w58 with the stock a01 diff top of third will be arounf 98 mph depending on rear tyre diamiter

Kirk
Quite right Jekyll did. Still 110 on stock drivetrain even with different Tyres won't push up your speed that much. Yeah I seen that slip and your terminal is slower than an NA which has a more believable 232hp... just saying

pezzler
Arent Falkens actually Dunlops? Never had any problems with mine, but then I rarely break the speed limit
Tricky-Ricky
Just wondering can anyone actually get their N/A to well over 120 leptons, other than on a decent bit of A road or a motorway? it takes me a bit of a run up with my Skyline and thats got another 60BHP on a Supra;)

Abz
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=23&t=877488&mid=0 Reading from that it seems they prefer the Falken's over the Avon's. Even a dude with an RS2 rated them! Arent Falkens actually Dunlops? Never had any problems with mine, but then I rarely break the speed limit I think you could be referring to Vredestins?
