Fifty Posted July 18, 2005 Share Posted July 18, 2005 Hi welcome certainly looks like stem seals ; do a search lots of info on this. mine does it off and on and it could be other things; wont do your engine harm any how. Jake Posted July 18, 2005 Share Posted July 18, 2005 Mine's been doing that since I had the car, 25,000 miles ago. Like Fifty says: don't worry about it. You're looking at over a grand to get the head off and replace the stem seals. I believe 'Dude' does it for about £400 without removing the head but he's otherwise engaged at the mo.
