Scott
I'm officially gutted. I played a few levels, thoroughly enjoying them, so decided it was time to buy a Supra and see what she could do. I had free Toyota stuff so I maxed it out...... undriveable. Ok I thought, drop some of the power... took it down to 600hp with the rest of the mods in place... undriveable. I thought maybe I was out of touch with the game so I decided just to go back to the game. Lo and behold an RZ race presents itself after a few turns. Due to it being a few classes below the standard I have modified the Sup to I had the game auto remove the mods. I am now at 366hp with a load of weight mods etc. The car is STILL undriveable. I can only put it down to really crap handling characteristics inputed for the supra (was forza 3 this bad?). 1st gear no traction (I had plenty of traction at 400hp+). The steering is unbelievably wallowy. You will be driving round a corner feeling as if it's rocking around it. If you even touch the steering once in a corner you will lose the back end, if you put the same degree of steering on on a straight nothing happens. I turned it off, I can't be doing with that to be honest. At 360hp a Supra is VERY easy to drive, very hard to lose (unless being silly) and will stick to the road very well. The stock attributes in that game are more like a golf cart. Oh, and the degree you can pull a supra to in real life while still holding it is unbelievable. In the game if it tilts over something like 5 degrees the back end is gone. Load of crap.
Kirk
It was just as bad in forza 3. I managed to make a setup with 480hp just about controllable with a lot of suspension tuning and testing but for some odd reason once its the tyres come up to temp the rear end gets loser! Tbh as much as I like the forza series I just dont think there's enough there for me to lay out my money for it although I think the LFA sounds incredible on it. One thing that annoys me the most is there seems to be only a couple of new tracks which I find rather disappointing. This game needs a total overhaul IMO. I didn't notice much difference in the looks either to be honest. The scenery has been upped and the damage is pretty good but other than that it's like an extension pack for forza 3. I can't be bothered tuning the car to make it driveable, it should be driveable out of the box. The fine tuning should be to give it the edge, not make it turn a corner at a reasonable speed. tkddav3
i think its a great game but it seems more like an expansion pack to forza 3, theyve changed the menus n stuff which is cool and the graphics looks better but i was hoping for abit more, still love the game though, as for the supra in the game, it does tend to be tail happy but its a laugh going through the corners sideways, and my supra looks awsome... The Supra does look fantastic but I can't be doing with the unrealistic handling. I put it onto simulation steering with all the aids off for a reason. I want a simulation not a tail happy un-driveable wagon wheel cart. I don't think I'm asking for too much to be honest. I remember getting one of the GT supras in Forza 3 and it handled great, somewhere in the middle would be ideal so that there is room for improvement....... as there is IRL. Mine was at 850hp and everything maxed out after about 20 mins I just stuck with Toyota right from the beginning, it meant I had free Toyota upgrades after not a lot of time. Do you find the handling of the Supra good then? Or is the Supra just your project? I think it's awful, the Aygo handles better lol.

I've got around that by having it as an A class with all upgrades but power comes in at 597, handles sweet but a bit twitchy at speed

My only hope is that enough people buy it to justify playing on line with you lot. The World Tour is practically the same as Forza 3 with a few different cars. I would rather have just started playing Forza 3 from the start again. H.

RobD
Got this last night, already in love! Totally better than GT5, although I was hoping for a bit of wooshing and tisshhing from the supra Bought the Aygo first off after being given the Audi R8, Camaro etc for having Forza 3! Done loads of races and thought I'll buy a supra, bought everything with 75% off, raced another track in the Aygo and got given 100% off with Toyota! gutted much! So sold all the upgrades and put them all back on for free! Was hoping for a ridox kit to be there but no luck! Still after a good few hours play it's a superb game! Loving the autovista also, looked around the LFA and sat in it, was like sitting in the real car! Gamertag is RobD87
DodgyRog
Well I have spent the last couple of hours trying to Tune a Supra so I can keep it on the bloody track for a whole lap and still feel like I am driving reasonably quick Just about to turn it off and watch the footie The Supra is just ridiculous handling wise

It's lacking one massive thing for me though....... realistic handling. GT5 has that down pat, if the makers of Forza could get their act together in that front (or just nick it) then it would be the best driving game ever. As it stands I prefer playing GT5 for the realism but the fact that I just need to turn the xbox on and I'm virtually starting the next race in a logical fashion means that unless I'm in for some serious hours of driving I tend to choose Forza. Well I have spent the last couple of hours trying to Tune a Supra so I can keep it on the bloody track for a whole lap and still feel like I am driving reasonably quick Just about to turn it off and watch the footie The Supra is just ridiculous handling wise Exactly the same with me mate, it's shockingly bad. Havard
How do you join? There is a section that says "car clubs" when you click on it, it shows othere people on your friends list who are in it. I will have to go on again to familiarise myself with it. Have I cocked up by not downloading my Forza 3 content? Is there any way I can do it now I have played the game for a bit. I started a new game thinking it was the more honest thing to do. H.

sideexitsupra
What's the problem with the handling? Auto tuned mine to S level after buying all the mods. Leave traction on and drive to the limits. Remember it's a game and most of the time people plough into corners too fast and get understeer. They then jump onto the throttle instead of feeding it in. A real supra would be a handful if you drove it like that too!!!!!!! If you are struggling, switch on the braking racing line to help you get cornering entry speeds correct. You may also want to adjust the brake force in car tuning so you don't lock the wheels under full braking, if you can't modulate your left finger enough! Have you tried the R2 level GT500 Supra to confirm your handling woes. That thing is on rails. Have been accepted into the mkiv club. Who owns this? Who's on tonight? Group race at 9 anyone?
