caseys
A friend's got a flatbed and willing to travel... Your breakdown cover does not cover returning the vehicle home then?

Tom S
They are "calling" me today. Its a replacement radiator + thermostat I beleive. Price to fix €720. Then I have to go and bring it back. I have full breakdown cover with the RAC, just wanting it brought home as I am stuck right now. There is loads of personal stuff in the Supra too. Will update when I know more thanks for the help and support guys
Josh
Would it be cheaper to get it picked up and brought back, then fix it here. New radiator is only about £150 and it can be fitted in an hour, saving you a decent bit of cash.

Tom S
ok, good news They (the RAC) have agreed to recover my car today. it however takes 10-14 working days. Once back it will be repaired and probably sold. (but we will see how I feel soon) Big thanks to Jurgen for his help this morning, could have had the car fixed and home in no time. Will still need a replacement Radiator and thermostat. and will be posting a wanted thread today. Tom

Ark
Tom, we got a quote of 650 to recover our subaru back to the uk. That was from Lizard Logistics who often works the Nurburgring route - lots of broken cars to bring back from there! They flat-bed them, so it doesn't matter if its a non-runner.
