Guigsy
Don't think it makes much difference as it northern Ireland mate. My legnum which was a jap import came from Ireland and is on Irish plates. Was told it makes no difference to insurers and the dvla gave me the option to change to uk plates but I didn't

jim
It's an NI plate Lude as Guigsy said, part of the uk so the plate is valid in Wales. I've had my supra 5 years and it's still on it's English reg with no issues whatsoever. If it had been ROI plates you would have had to re-register it but it's definitely not. Darragh
And even if it was a southern reg it's £55 to transfer to English reg mot the car on the chassis number and tax it once the new number plates are issued, I'm in the middle of importing a Toyota glanza v from the south to he north and it's really handy Plus in England no one will no the age of the car if you have a northern Ireland plate on it lol
