paulj1
Hi I have PIAA hid lights fitted to my supra and for some reason when you turn on the headlights they both light up the after a few seconds the passenger one goes out but if you turn them off and back on again they both work again I've disconnected the ballast pack cleaned the connections but still does it anyone any ideas? If I need to get new ones what does any one recommend please? or does any one happen to have a spare PIAA ballast pack to try it Cheers Paul
Abz
Paul it could be a dodgy connection. When it does it, try moving the wires on the faulty bulb near the ballast end.

SupraP-Z
I had the same problem, the problem was on the bulb end on mine. Just take it apart, give it a quick wipe, connect it back together...with a bit of force this time, this should sort the problem out, mine works fine now

Terminator
Clean all the pins and use an electrical contact gel on the pins. I had a similar problem, been fine since using the gel.
scunner
Hi. I had the same problem with my previous supra when the HID kit was brand new. Turned out to be a problem with the ballast itself.

Guest kanekane
The oem connectors for low beam are not polarised (halogen bulb doesn't care wich sie is + and wich is -) but the ballast does. When I installed my fog and low beam HID, I mounted both ballasts under the headlights on both side and plugged directly the low beam plug into the ballast. I had one of my low beam that wouldn't trigger one, hat to reverse the connector. Other than that can be a bad ground, blow fuse or bad ballast.
