Graham S
Yeah. It's called the Samsung Galaxy S2 You've been itching to say that havn't you? It's true though, The 4S is no better than the SGS2 really. Seems the screen remains the same. I've been told by everyone that has a 4 that my S2 screen is much better. Only plus for the iPhone for me is the build quality and they have a better keyboard layout. Everything else, Android all day long!

Abz
The S2 is a really good phone, my only gripe being it is very expensive for a plasticky phone, also the screen is quite wide compared (no hand jokes please) so find it less comfortable to hold with one hand. Have to agree, it is ever so slightly too wide. I think a 4" screen would have been better. Also agree it does feel very plastic but to be honest it's only really the iPhones that have a 'good, solid' feel to them. Pretty much every other phone manufacturer is more interested in weights etc. So, after all this, does anyone see a near future for the iPhone 5 then? Wez
Shame the iPhone 5 was not announced, although the 4s looks to be a nice upgrade for my 3GS. I will see if I can order one at the weekend I looked at the Android phones but still prefer iOS, although for dev it's a real PITA
johnny g
Bluetooth 4.0 is a nice touch I'll be getting one when they're out. But, what do I give up? The Sensation or the iPhone 4? ... or do I get a third number?
Blackie
Yeah. It's called the Samsung Galaxy S2 Im going to look in to it as Orange will prob want loads for the 4s
Soopra
I have a SGS2... it's not too wide for my girly hands, and i don't think it feels plastic at all. in fact my iPhone 3GS was more plastic. I think the SGS2 feels quite rugged and tough. I love the Sat Nav and the camera is good too. And I spend hours playing Angry Birds on it. For me the only downside is the battery life but I'm never far from a USB port anyway...

Pretty much every other phone manufacturer is more interested in weights etc. So, after all this, does anyone see a near future for the iPhone 5 then? To be honest when I got the Windows 7 phone it was like this the Nokia N8 was following in similar footsteps & I just hoped the iPhone didn't. The tablet Market has opened up now so no real need for a huge screen. Plus phones you want them to be small so then as well as holding them easily they should pop into suit trousers nicely. I have a SGS2... it's not too wide for my girly hands, and i don't think it feels plastic at all. in fact my iPhone 3GS was more plastic. I think the SGS2 feels quite rugged and tough. Not that it is too wide it's more about the comfort factor. The 3GS is over 2 years old but still the back is at least a shiny(ish) plastic & not a flat finish. All smart phones will suffer from battery, one thing people fail to understand before our phones lasted 1 week on charge as you would hardly make any calls using the basic Nokia screen you had. Nowadays it's full on high quality screens, I use mine to read the papers on the way into work, listen to music, login to the forum, play games, check eBay etc. No doubt this is going to have a huge impact on battery life. I am very impressed with the iPad battery, I assume they have developed the same technology for the 4S?

SupraDan24
Apple must need to squeeze a few more million out of the mugs general public before they eventually release the iPhone 5.

DodgyRog
Think I will just be waiting for the iPhone 5, my 3GS is fine for what I need and it's now on a Simplicity O2 plan, so cheap as chips I am not convinced (other the the camera) that the iPhone 4s is a good enough leap forward to get me to be tied into another contract
TubbyTwo
Im Sticking with what I have at the moment. Thorin
So it's a bit faster, and has a bit better camera? Revolutionary. Shouldn't we all be buying Windows 7 phones anyway? I'm told it's way better than everything else.
AndrewOW
Until the mobile phone companies get their acts together and sort out the awful mobile signal down here in the extreme south east, then I won't be getting any new phones anytime soon.
